Burlington Bocce Club announces 2013 Calendar and Kick Off Meeting

Burlington, April 5, 2013:  The Burlington Bocce Club has announced their 2013 Summer Calendar. The club will hold their KICK-OFF Meeting on Wednesday April 24th  at the Fletcher Free Library, Burlington, VT.  Everyone interested in bocce is encouraged to come and discuss the coming bocce season: tournaments and leagues, rule changes, court improvements and more.  You can sign up for the club, or a league while you are there. The meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Fletcher Free Library . 235 College Street Burlington, Vermont 05401.  Refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

**Every Sunday at 4pm is the Bocce Social. Nothing formal, just an opportunity for fun play.

Burlington Bocce Club plays on the official courts at Oak Ledge Park in Burlington, VT. The Club was founded in 2007 as a social and recreation oriented club that is dedicated to providing Burlington a place to gather around the game of Bocce.  Our members are of all age ranges and skill levels.
The fee to join the Burlington Bocce Club is $15. This fee covers Membership Includes the use of professional bocce balls and other equipment including scoreboards, court grooming equipment) which is stored at the courts. You also receive, discounted tournament fees, a Membership Card, and a discounted parks pass. You can play anytime you like (except during league play). A membership covers yourself, your spouse (significant other), and your children under 18.

In addition to Club Membership, you can register for the BBC also offers a Season Long Singles Ladder Tournament, a season long Doubles Tournament (2-4 people per team), and specialty tournaments.
